Ned Havern (born October 1, 1982) is an American former professional ice hockey player. Havern was drafted 273rd overall, in the 9th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, by the Dallas Stars. He began his professional career in 2005, after playing four seasons with the Boston College Eagles, in the ECHL with the Trenton Titans.
Havern's cousin, Ryan Hegarty, is also a hockey player. Ryan was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the 4th round (113th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
